Enabling Hello Messenger

Get started with Breezy's Hello Messenger. Find out how to enable the messenger and get in touch with potential candidates.

With Hello Messenger, you can gather contact info and resumes from visitors who are browsing your website.

When a potential candidate submits their name, email, and resume with Hello, they’ll be added to a candidate pool in Breezy. You can follow up with them using candidate messaging and nurture campaigns, just like candidates who have applied directly to an open position.

Hello Messenger is available to customers on Growth, Business, and Pro plans.

How to enable Hello Messenger

Admin permission is required to enable Hello Messenger and change its settings.

  1. Click the gear icon ⚙️ in the left sidebar.

  2. Hover over Recruiting Preferences and click Hello Messenger Settings.

  3. Click General in the left sidebar.

  4. Click Enable.

  5. Select a candidate pool from the dropdown, or click + Add to create a new pool.

  6. Click Save Changes.

The pool you select will be used to organize and maintain the candidates who engage with Hello Messenger. You can access each candidate’s profile and interact with them just like you would any other candidate.

The candidate experience

When a visitor encounters Hello Messenger on your career portal, or any page where it’s embedded, they’ll see a chat window with a message you provide in Hello’s settings.

After a candidate writes a message, the bot will prompt them for their name, email address, and resume attachment. Whatever info they include will be added to their candidate profile, and they’ll receive a brief follow-up message to let them know they’ll be contacted by your team.

When you contact the candidate via candidate messaging in their profile, they’ll receive your reply right in their email.
