A few great ways to streamline your hiring process with Stage Actions and Questionnaires

Questionnaires serve plenty of purposes on their own – from Extending Your Application to collecting References. But when you pair them with Stage Actions for Automation, the manual hours you'll save really start piling up!

Keep in mind that when you send Questionnaires as part of a later stage in your pipeline (basically any time you're not using them as part of an application), we send a templated note along with the Questionnaire. You can edit this templated note right inside the Questionnaire, at the bottom of the pop-up screen:

Common Questionnaire + Stage Action Automations:

  • Move candidates to a new stage once they've completed a Questionnaire (you'll find that option in the Questionnaire edit itself – see Screen Candidates Based on Answers for more detail)
  • Send out Reference Requests when a candidate is moved to a certain stage in your pipeline.
  • Send out a challenge – like a writing sample request for a Content Writer – when a candidate is moved to a certain stage in your pipeline.
  • Ask a few questions that require a Video Response as part of a first-round Interview Stage.
