GDPR introduces data portability — the right for a data subject to receive the personal data concerning them, which they have previously provided in a 'commonly used and machine-readable format' and the right to transmit that data to another controller.

Essentially, this means candidates should be able to request a copy of the data you've collected (or they've provided) about them.

Breezy makes it simple to respond to candidates’ data requests.

How to respond to a candidate’s data request

With GDPR features enabled, you can request a candidate’s GDPR data for them, right from their profile.

With the GDPR Data Request option, Breezy will automatically bundle up the candidate’s application and completed questionnaires, plus any documents they've explicitly shared, and email them to the candidate.

To send a candidate their GDPR data:

  1. Open the candidate’s profile or click the checkbox next to their name on a candidate list.

  2. Click the More icon (three dots) or dropdown in the upper-right corner of the window.

  3. Click GDPR Data Request.

  4. Click Yes please to confirm.
