Have you ever wished you could have all of your candidate's information at your fingertips during an interview? Not just their resume, but also their social profiles, that awesome Scorecard your team set up, and any documents you've already gathered from them?

That's exactly what we thought!

Breezy video interviews offer more than just a way to connect with candidates who can't make it to the office (though they're great for that, too). They make it simple to organize a live video meeting with your whole team, plus the candidate, while having the candidate’s details available to those who need it.

In this article:

Video interviews are available on all paid plans.
Breezy integrated video is supported in the following browsers:

  • Chrome 65+

  • Firefox 59+

  • Opera 51+

  • Edge 91+

  • Internet Explorer 11

  • Safari 11+ (Safari is the only browser supported on iOS devices)

How to schedule a video interview

You can schedule a video interview the same way you schedule any meeting in Breezy. You’ll just need to click Yes when we ask if you'd like the meeting to be in video format.

The meeting invite will include a video meeting link that all participants can use to access the interview. The link will become active five minutes before the meeting is scheduled to start, and will deactivate 30 minutes after the meeting is scheduled to end.

How to record and save a video interview

If you'd like to revisit your video interviews later, just enable the option to record when you schedule the interview. That's all there is to it!

After the interview, the video will be available from the Documents tab of the candidate profile.

Recording of video interviews is available to customers on Business and Pro plans.

During the video interview

Hiring team view

As a member of the hiring team, you'll have access to the candidate's resume, experience, and documents right on your Breezy screen throughout the meeting. You can also share your screen, to present to the candidate and other participants.

You can also add notes about the candidate, fill out their scorecard, and discuss the candidate as a team on screen, during the meeting. The candidate won't be able to see any of the actions you take — your hiring team can collaborate privately during the interview.

Candidate view

During the interview, your candidate will see a simple video meeting window that includes typical video, audio, and screen sharing options, along with the message history from their profile.

Note: The message history window is not a live chat. Any messages the candidate adds will appear in the Email/SMS tab of their profile. Messages from the hiring team will be emailed to the candidate.

How to view saved video interviews

After the interview is over, the video will be available from the candidate’s profile.

  1. Locate the candidate with a search, or from a position or pool.

  2. Open the candidate’s profile.

  3. Click Documents near the top of the window.

  4. Click the correct video to open it.

Note: Most videos are available within a few minutes, but there could be a delay for longer recordings.

How to schedule interviews with Indeed Interviews, Zoom, MS Teams, or Google Meet

If you prefer to use Google Meet, Indeed Interviews, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom for interviews, you can schedule those right in Breezy, too.

A few things to note:

  • You can connect and enable any of these meeting platforms the first time you use them to schedule a video interview (or any time in your user settings).

  • All participants will receive the same type of video meeting link as Breezy video meetings, but it will open the meeting in Zoom, MS Teams, Indeed Interviews, or Meet.

  • The video meeting link is active from five minutes before the meeting is scheduled to start until 30 minutes after the meeting is scheduled to end.

  • Candidate info will not be displayed in a Zoom, MS Teams, Indeed Interviews, or Meet window. You can open Breezy in another tab or window to access candidate info, notes, and hiring team discussion during the interview.

  • You can enable recording within Zoom, MS Teams, Indeed Interviews, or Meet during the meeting, instead of when scheduling the interview in Breezy.

  • Recorded videos from Zoom, MS Teams, Indeed Interviews, and Meet are not automatically uploaded to Breezy.
